Where are the bargains? Everybody likes a bargain. What a feeling when you find something that is below the price that someone else paid more for. This principle is in play right now in the housing market. I have talked with people that have bought Orlando real estate at the top of the market and say that they could buy the same home for thousands less now. Looking on the positive side of this, there are some good bargains on homes right now and all it takes is for someone to find them. With the mortgage rates at historical lows (Can you remember not too long ago that a mortgage at 9% was considered a normal mortgage), and a large inventory of homes to chose from,one can really find a great home at a relative low price. We are seeing many Kissimmee homes that two years ago, had five offers on each listing. These homes, many times sold above the selling price, and they are now going for bargain prices. WHERE IS THE BOTTOM? With an abundance of inventory and interest rates still in a historical low range, homes are still moving. There are many new families moving into the area.
